Jordan Lisi is an award-winning independent filmmaker.
Recently, his film 12 And More Omissions (2024), dubbed "a tough jewel of indie cinema" by American independent film-making giant Andrew Bujalski, won in Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Actress at the '24 Sipontum Arthouse International Film Festival as well as Best Director at the 2024 Berlin Independent Film Festival. 12 And More Omissions premiered at Antho-​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Drafthouse as a selection of The Non Films Darkroom Screening Series, at Boston University as part of the Independent Filmmaking Today series, and at Brooklyn Center For Theater Research as part of their '5 Films' screening series. Other screenings include: NewFilmmakers NYC 2024, Tokyo International Short Film Festival 2024, Roma Short Film Festival 2024, and ADULT FILM NYC Film & Theatre Festival 2024. 12 And More Omissions was reviewed by Split Tooth Media as well as Ordet Magazine. Tokyo International Short Film Festival featured an interview with Lisi on the making of the film. Pamela Katz, screenwriter of Hannah Arendt and Rossenstrasse, called the film an "astonishing feature debut" and Peter Rinaldi, host of Filmmaker Magazine's Back To One podcast called it an "exceptional film". 12 And More Omissions will premiere online at Split Tooth Media in the third quarter of 2025. As an educator: Lisi has worked with Educational Video Center for four years in the capacity of Teaching Artist, instructing professional development filmmaking programs. Working with a diverse range of middle and high school students across all five boroughs of New York City, Lisi regularly guides students through the filmmaking process from ideation to completion. Lisi received his own education at Boston University ('21, Cum Laude) receiving a joint degree in Film Production from the College of Communications as well as in Cinema and Emerging Media Studies from the College of Arts of Sciences.

Lisi's diverse skill set from pre production through post separates him as a unique talent in the filmmaking sphere.
Beyond writing and directing, Lisi has worked as a 1st Assistant Director for a number of high-profile film and video projects, including on music videos for major artists such as Bon Iver, The Lumineers, and Eric Hilton; Brands such as Neutrogena, Misfits Market, and Basically Soho; and for narrative films which have premiered at Tribeca Festival, Nowness, and The Museum of The Moving Image (MoMI). He has also edited for branded content, commercials, and music videos for brands and individuals including The Boston Celtics, Unilever, content creator Brian Reisberg, and more.
