I spread my passion for film and education through my work as a teaching artist.

I currently work as a freelance teaching artist for Educational Video Center, a documentary filmmaking professional development course offered to NYC public school students from middle through high school. Through EVC, I have taught a film at a wide variety of middle and upper schools including Innovative Diploma Plus High School, Midwood High School, High School of Art & Design, Catherine and Count Basie Middle School 72, Curtis High School, Concord High School, I.S. 230 Middle School, I.S. 49 Bertha Dreyfus Middle School, High School for Youth & Community Development at Erasmus Hall, IS 229 Roland Patterson, Pathways to Graduation Davidson, High School For Violin & Dance, and more.

I have also worked as an underground teaching assistant  for various film production courses and as a teaching artist at various creative summer camps.

I graduated from Boston University with Latin Honors, where I studied Film Production and Theory under industry veterans and leading film theorists.
